It is known that a function in ïÂ?¨ ïÂ?© 2 L R can be represented by its wavelet expansion with convergence in ïÂ?¨ ïÂ?© 2 L R –norm. But the case is different in LïÂ?¢ïÂ?¨RïÂ?© norm. In this paper we shall discuss the convergence of non–orthogonal wavelet expansions in the ïÂ?¨ ïÂ?© p L R norm, 1ïÂ?£ p ïÂ?£ïÂ?Â¥. Moreover I have extended the results of Ahmed I Zayed [1] using the approximate identity. Our method and approach are different from those of Ahmed I. Zayed [1].
