Antibodies are substances made by the body's immune system because of microorganisms, infections, growth, or cancer cells. Antibodies join to the foreign substances so the immune system will against them. Antibodies are particular to every kind of foreign substance. For example, antibodies made because of a tuberculosis contamination connect only to tuberculosis microorganisms. Antibodies also work in allergic responses.
